Rothschild Hotel Restaurant
The Rothschild Hotel restaurant specializes in fish, sea-food and vegetarian dishes of the highest quality. The restaurant uses local ingredients, some native to this land and others adopted and cultivated with the founding of Israel. We like to call it “Zionist cuisine with a French accent”.
The Rothschild Hotel Restaurant serves two different menus: – Breakfast and Brunch Menu – served daily until 4PM. – Dinner Menu – serves daily from 7PM.
These days the restaurant also serves a “secret tasting meal” which is served on the bar only. The meal includes wine tasting, aperitif cocktail, appetizer, tasting of 4 dishes and a desert. Youngsters under the age of 35 are entitled for a special price of just 145 NIS per diner. The price for “veterans” over 35 is 290 NIS per diner.
The restaurant’s chef, Tzvi Avisar, studied at Hofmann cooking school in Barcelona where he graduated with honors. He later worked at Michelin star restaurants in Barcelona such as Lasarte and Drolma and was also a sue-chef in Nectari, which also has a Michelin star.
